SURFING FOR SURGERY A BOOM IN ONLINE ENQUIRIES AS BRITS
QUEST FOR PERFECTION RISES
New research revealed today by Britain’s leading cosmetic
surgery provider, Transform, shows that Brits are now shopping for
surgery just as they would a holiday or Christmas present, as
online enquiries reach record-breaking heights.
Cosmetic surgery has never been more popular, despite the
present economic recession, but latest figures released by
Transform show that online business in particular is booming with a
20% increase in customer online enquiries, directed via Google,
compared to the same time last year. And Brits know what they want
when they log on – Botox, breasts and body sculpting.
Whilst Botox is still the biggest online enquiry, men and women
are also surfing for Liposuction and women for breast enlargements.
When broken down regionally, results show that those in London
(32%) are more likely to enquire about Botox than any other region,
followed by Mancunians (15%) and Glaswegians (13%).
However, those in Cardiff are least likely to search for the
anti-ageing jab (6%). Where Liposuction’s concerned, 25% of online
enquiries come from London followed by 17% in Edinburgh and 14% in
Glasgow. The least number of enquiries came from those in Liverpool
(9%).
Once again it’s Londoners who top the number of enquiries for
breast enlargements (29%) but they’re followed by those in
Birmingham (18%) and Liverpudlians (16%, whilst Scottish and Leeds
lasses are less inquisitive with just 12% of enquiries in each.

economic downturn, it seems there’s one thing Brits just won’t cut
down on - looking good. However the latest figures show a definite
trend in surgery seeking with our online business bigger than
ever.
“People are more inquisitive than ever and are logging on
whether at work or at home to find out how they go about getting
treatments and gaining a new found confidence.”
And what does the future hold for one of the UK’s fastest

surgeries will see the biggest growth.
