mouth)
- Depressions and blemishes (such as acne scars),
- Hollow or sunken cheeks (caused by fat atrophy due to
the ageing process)

the nose and chin

What range of dermal fillers do you have?
There are lots of different dermal fillers; each has different
benefits and effects. At Transform we use the following:
Restylan, Perlane, Juvéderm® ULTRA,
Juvéderm™ VOLUMA™, Hydrafill, Sculptra, Radiesse and Collagen.
Restylane and Perlane
These products consist of a non-animal clear gel that will help
to smooth your wrinkles and folds and create contours. They can
also be used to provide lip enhancement
if required.
Restylane and Perlane will generally remain in the treated area
for some months following your treatment, giving it natural looking
volume and contours.
Restylane is used for fine lines whilst Perlane is used for
deeper wrinkles and folds.
They now contain lidocaine, a local anaesthetic to make the
whole experience so much more comfortable.
Juvéderm™ VOLUMA™
Our newest dermal filler and the latest generation of hyaluronic
acid volumisers that will recontours the face to restore volume to
chin, cheeks, and cheekbones that have become hallow or thin.
You should notice effects immediatley after treatment and the
results will last up to 18 months.
Hydrafill
Made from hyaluronan, an organic substance found within your
skin, it can help reduce lines and wrinkles, enhance lips and add
definition to your chin and cheeks.
It works by mimicking the hydrating and lifting effects of
hyaluronan, keeping the skin moist and elastic - and you looking
and feeling great. Following a series of light injections, your
skin will be supported and flattened for a smoother, softer
look.
Sculptra (Volumiser)
Designed to help alleviate unwanted lines and wrinkles, leaving
your face feeling both smoother and firmer as well as looking
younger.
It is based on Poly-L-actic acid, which, when injected into a
line or wrinkle, not only fills out the area, but also starts to
stimulate natural production of new collagen. So, in addition to
minimising the wrinkle, you also benefit from a continued natural
restructuring process for months after completion of your
treatment.
A series of treatments is recommended over a 12 week period.
Results are visible usually after 2 sessions but 3 sessions are
recommended for best results. The results can last up to 3
years.
Radiesse
This is dermal filler of choice for longer lasting results that
are not permanent. Using Radiesse, clients will get results lasting
from 12 to 18 months. Ideal for those patients who want something
to last that little bit longer.
Collagen
Collagen was the first dermal filler to be available almost 30
years ago. Injectable collagen was first used to treat patients in
1976.
Due to the nature of its production all clients wishing to have
this treatment must have a patch test prior to treatment. If there
are no side effects after 28 days the treatment maybe administered.
Collagen normally lasts for about 3 months.
How are dermal fillers administered?
The area to be treated will be numbed using a topical cream
anaesthetic. Once this has taken effect the area to be treated will
be injected with the most suitable form of dermal filler to give
the best results.
Juverderm Ultra and the Restylane brand are now unique in the
industry as having this additional pain relief and here at
Transform we pride ourselves on only using premium brand dermal
fillers. These provide excellent safety record and adding pain
relief has not compromised on the quality of either of these
products. We know you will instantly recognise the immediate
benefits they have to offer. Here at Transform we want you to have
a comfortable experience from start to finish.
How long will it take administer dermal fillers?
Depending on the area treated, approximately 30-45 minutes.
What results can I expect from dermal fillers?
The results will be immediate. Your skin will be smoother and
younger looking. Once any swelling has subsided the results will be
subtle and pleasing.
How long is the recovery period from dermal fillers?
There is no recovery period necessary when you undergo dermal
fillers.
Are there any after effects from dermal fillers?
With dermal fillers there can be redness, swelling and bruising
which is normal and will subside.
Are there risks associated with dermal fillers?
There are some risks associated with dermal fillers, though
rare. Transform has performed more cosmetic surgery than any other
provider in the UK. As such, we are extremely experienced; there is
no provider better placed to help you become more confident through
a non-surgical cosmetic procedure. You can talk through any
concerns you may have at your free
consultation.
Can I combine other treatments with dermal fillers?
Many of our clients combine dermal fillers with VISTABEL® (the new name for Botox) for an overall
younger looking skin. If you are exploring procedures to counter
the effects of ageing, then you might like to visit our look younger page.
How much do dermal fillers cost?
Dermal fillers cost from £245.
How do I arrange to have dermal fillers?
The first step towards getting dermal fillers is to book a free
consultation with a member of our friendly, expert team. At a
consultation, you can expect to see a patient care co-ordinator,
with whom you will have plenty of opportunities to ask any
questions you may have about the procedure. The consultation will
take around 30 mins, during which time you will not be given
the ‘hard sell’. No pressure will be put on you to go through with
the procedure, and you will not be forced to make a decision at the
consultation. We understand that this is a big decision for you and
we want you to be totally satisfied that it’s the right thing to do
before committing to the procedure booking.
