Barbara Lutz - Cosmetic Surgeon
Ms. Lutz qualified in medicine in Germany in 1985. There
she qualified as specialist in General Surgery and then as
specialist in Plastic Surgery (1995). She achieved the MD for her
doctoral thesis in Germany and her PhD for extensive research in
the area of peripheral nerve regeneration in Sweden (2004). 1996 –
1998 fellowship at the renowned Dept. of Plastic and
Reconstructive Surgery, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, in Taipei,
Taiwan. 1998 Senior Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the University
Hospital Hannover, Germany and from 1999 – 2005 Senior Consultant
Plastic Surgeon in Sweden.
In 2005 Ms. Lutz spent several months in Brazil to deepen her
profound knowledge in cosmetic surgery, which is her primary field
in London. She is on the UK Specialist Register for Plastic
Surgery.
Additionally to her clinical work Ms. Lutz has published
numerous articles and given many lectures and presentations. She is
member of the review boards of 4 International Plastic Surgery
Journals and holds memberships in various International Societies
of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
