Mr Mascarenhas qualified in medicine in 1986 in France and achieved membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists in 1991. He completed his specialist accreditation training in 1996 and completed subspecialty accreditation training in Reproductive Medicine & Surgery in 1998. He is on the UK Specialist Register for Obstetrics & Gynaecology as well as for Reproductive Medicine & Surgery. He has worked as a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in University teaching hospitals (Queens Medical Centre and Guy’s & St Thomas’ hospitals) since 1998 and is an accredited trainer with the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists for minimal access gynaecological endoscopic surgery.
